Music blends with Fashion

The Camañag Brothers: Roeder the singer, and Jeffrey the Choreographer, together with Musical Director Jesse Lucas, mixed Music with Fashion in unique Benefit Shows with Concert and Fashion Show at the Apostle Church on May 12 and at the Holy Spirit Church on June 10, 2007.

“Music and Fashion Fusion” is a Benefit Show which integrates Fashion Show in the Musical Concert of Singer Roeder Camañag, Musical Director Jesse Lucas and Choreographer Jeffrey Camañag.
       Roeder Camañag is Pop a singer and film actor based in Manila, Philippines. He was one of Vicor’s prime recording artist who has earned Gold and Platinum Awards for his song “Sana Naman.” He is also a theater performer and was nominated twice as “Aliw Awards Best Actor”. He also appreared in several films, like in Marilou Diaz-Abaya’s “Rizal” as the idealistic Basilio. For his steering performance in the film, “Ebolusyon ng Pamilyang Filipino,” directed by Lav Diaz, he was nominated as Best Supporting Actor in the Urian Awards 2005.

       He was accompanied by his award-winning Musical Director Jesse Lucas, composer, music arranger and director. His works range from pop to classical, film and television music scores as well as theater and ballet musical works.
       His numerous film awards as “Best Film Music” include the Young Critics Award, Star Awards, Urian Awards and the FAMAS Awards. His television credits include music score for TV series like “Basta’t Kasama Kita”, “Panday” and the TV hit series, “Maging Sino Ka Man.” In 2005, he won the “Best Music Score Award” in the Los Angeles Scream Film Festival for his music score in the film, “Sigaw.”

       The combination of these award-winning artists made the mixture of music and fashion show of Filipiniana Costume, one unique artistic experience. The shows were organized by the Fitness Group in Berlin in an effort to raise funds for the Scholarship Program at the Holy Trinity Academy in Loay, Bohol, Philippines and for the victims of the typhoon “Reming” in Bicol.
